I am thinking AU58, maybe 55. Hard to say on the value if that is raw a AU55/58 ... $50-$75? My gut says something might be "off" with it, but hard to tell from the pics.
It doesn't have to have hairlines to be improperly cleaned. I see no evidence of luster at all. ~ Chris
Curious field next to her lips. With very slight wear, I'd say AU58. I don't see signs of cleaning, but then I usually don't unless harshly cleaned.
not sending this coin in for grading. It was in my Morgan and Peace dollar stash for silver value. Just evaluating how much over melt the coin might be worth is all.
AU details—cleaned. Lots of pitting, that shows mechanical cleaning, and washed out, luster less look.
The obverse cleaning might have been done with baking soda. No TPG review, put it in a flip and learn from the experience.
Going by the OP's pictures the color made this coin suspect. But pitting? First time I heard of that. Thanks for the education!
