So a few things about this one. it's blue...is that toning? There is a rim on the left of the coin, MAD? Between the 7th and 8th there is something, doubling? The first 9 seems a bit thicker than the last. Lincoln's hair looks fabulous!!
Environmental toning.. But the bad kind. Human secretions.. Always wash your hands after handling coins That is Finning. Normal. Those are the columns in the background. Die Deterioration issue.
Whenever you see violets, orange, blues.. Dried urine, sweat, boogers, dirty finger oils.. No joke. Coins are disgusting!
I wear gloves...and put them on certain mats on my table. and those get washed at the end of the day. Gross...
I remember a guy who posted his "toned coins" that he really liked, and you told him it was from urine... And he didn't even care! He just said he liked the colors, and I'm pretty sure he kept them.
They got put into the roll with the rest of the rejects!!! I had no idea, but now I am thankful I know. It's kind of a bummer because they are well struck and not all circulated like the rest of them I have looked at.
