2018 RPM

    Is this a 2018 nickle that has been RPM?If so, what is the bottom mint?

    Mint Marks hand punched on to the Die ended in 1989 so that can't be a RPM.
    Probably a stain.

    Really? If a baseball player slides into home plate what happens to his uniform? It gets a stain.

    Dirt, grime, or a chemical from circulation gets the coin dirty.

    In my limited experience I have seen some stains but none like this. Why not just call it dirt or grime? ‍♂️
