Snagged this beauty off of one of the FB Coin groups I belong to. The R4+ 1829 O-118. Deceptively difficult to tell apart from the O-117 the difference is in the 1.25 mm between star 1 and the bust on the 118 and the 1 mm on the 117, and the point of star 7 pointing to the top of the curl on the 118 vs the upper half of the headband on the 117. They share a common reverse. Apparently super, duper rare in grades above VF, in the last decade the top 5 coins were a MS62, a 53, a 50 details, a 45, and a 40 details. This one is in an ICG Xf45 details for a scratch on the obverse.
Hello, mind giving your opinion on my 1909 S VDB Lincoln Cent? https://www.cointalk.com/conversations/1909-s-vdb-lincoln-cent-need-second-opinion.230503/
Hello @joej132, if you start your own thread people will give their thoughts on your coin. Welcome to CT!
I have already, thought going to other peoples posts would help. Now I know that isn't what I should do.
Looks like a great original coin. Facebook coin groups are becoming HUGE. I've been able to get some great coins from there.
