Hi! found this looking on the 'bay for henning nickels and stuff, bored. I'm no mathematician but shouldn't this be like, ohhhh I dunno, maybe $25-$35? https://www.ebay.com/itm/35-Silver-...283989&hash=item362101be9d:g:I18AAOSwKE9Z184H Now top it off, the guy has pretty decent feedback..... Low and behold, I look and it says 1 sold Mar-09-19 for..... US $19.51??? is this guy expecting a huge run up on silver and just staying way ahead of the curve or something? LOL!
This one should really be on Esty not eBay. At $1,116.60, it's a joke. I don't care what feed back the seller has, or the price of silver. Yes, I clicked on the link, which I normally don't do, but Hughes Net just renewed my download allotment. LOL
It's, I think $1 face value total on the listing. "35% Silver - $1 War Nickels Circulated" Yeah, looks like an etsy deal of the day to me also!
I have actually purchased from them in the past. Does seem extremely high....I don't care what silver is at.
Coinflation has war nickel silver melt at about $1.40. My collection represents about 1.9 troy oz. of silver; the chemicals to refine them would cost more than the value of the silver.
Does it cost less to do it like that than to take down the listing and then relist when they're back in stock?
Either a typo or what Beefer said with a place holder is my guess. I've bought from that seller on eBay before and the prices were reasonable.
