Going through my late 60's and early 70's cents today, found this one. Is it a small date, still trying to get an eye for those. The top left of the memorial, would that be considered doubling, if so what type?
You are correct...it's right here in front of me in my book. My apologies, got ahead of myself! I do have some of those I was about to post one I had a question about.
Not sure if its a DD, but something going on with the N and T of Cents too. I will be curious to learn.
Variety Vista show no DDR for 1970 LMC only DDO's http://varietyvista.com/Variety Master Listings/lincoln doubled dies 1970-1979.htm#_1970
I am looking at the whole reverse. By the pictures it appears to have MD at the top of the E in United and on the NT in Cent. Now that’s not to infer that DD and MD cannot be present on the same coin. Also, there are no listed examples on VV, Wexler, or CC. Of course there always could be a new discovery but 1970 cents are a popular year. JMHO.
Right. I had looked at all those sights and didn't see anything like that one. Do think I should it in to Wexler?
