2000 Cheerios Penny

I read an article not long ago, not sure where, about a guy on Vacation from New Jersey finding not one but two in my own state of Pennsylvania. This guy needs to play the lottery.

I've seen normal cents that said "close AM" selling on eBay for big money to confused buyers.

 

First, I have 35 of these still in original packaging. Six are showing reverse. None are WAM. Second, NGC does slab these with Cheerios on the label if they are sent in the original wrapping. Third, a MS66RD is booked at $70.00 and a MS67RD is booked at $450.00 (I have two of these). And forth, I do not know of any that are WAM. I send these to NGC four or five at a time. I have not had any that came back under 66RD.

It is best if you start your own thread, and be sure to include good photos. Try to take images from directly overhead, and crop out all unnecessary background. You can use the "Upload a File" option to select which images to post, and make sure that you use the "Full Image" option. ~ Chris

 

You should send it, on the card, to your favorite TPG. It will get graded, designated as a Cheerio's Cent and you will have access to the reverse. If it is a WAM, there will be no question. Right? Then send it back for the designation.

Certainly not Cheerios Pennies, so I assume that you are referring to WAM's. ~ Chris

 

I have both raw and intact package and have a PCGS ms-66 Red with complete package it came from...

Should of stuck a Cheerio in the original wrapped and had TPG grade AND SLAB IT
