    Usually I make a quick scan of my pocket change when I receive coins from a small transaction. I sure didn’t take note of this until I emptied my pockets. A nice small Sunday surprise.

    Not only a coin shortage...I was at the store this morning and walking down the soda aisle to the check outs when I noticed a sign saying that "due to a national aluminium shortage, some things will be unavailable."
    Good thing we just slapped a 10% tariff on Canadian aluminium eh?...
