Sorry to the members I have not got back to , we had some personal issues here with an operation my wife had. In the middle of the surgery they had to wake her up because of a malfunction . The person giving her the sleeping drug had to give her another shot to put her back under so they could finish the operation , and the Dr. over dosed her causing some serious damage in the processing dept. She is slowly getting better I am happy to say . I apologize to the members that I was trying to help get a few things but all of the coin activity got put on hold until this past week . Glad to be back , and will try to answer everyone's message. The operation was a number of years back and she is just starting to be her old self again instead of some person that never knew who her husband was , or who she was. Happy to be back , but it will take a while to catch up . Thank you for your understanding it has been a roller coaster ride thinking she was getting better then she would revert back into a troubled soul . I missed Coin Talk and all the members here. Dillan
Thank you all for your nice words , You are a decent bunch of fellows , and I am blessed to associate myself with you all. Dillan
You know, a person hears these kinds of stories and the first thing that crosses my mind is.... Wow, what if that were my wife of thirty years? I would be lost and sure wouldn’t be thinking about coins! I am truly relieved that she seems to have overcome this thing.
Thanks Randy , it was one heck of a trying time. One day they know you , goes to the hospital for a fairly routine operation and all hell breaks loose. Just happy that my kids are grown and on their own . If the kids would have been in their younger years it would have been much more trying. A person signs on to spend the rest of your life with your mate then all of a sudden she is someone else for a good while. Pretty scary situation , and just pleased that all of you are out there with your words of encouragement . Thanks Dillan
Sorry to hear about all this. Hope your wife makes a full recovery and leads a happy and productive life. Welcome back.
How scary for both of you. I'm glad she seems to be on the mends and hope all goes well. I'm glad you can have some free time to join us here again. I don't know how it is Canada, but in the U.S. that sounds like a serious malpractice law suit, and I'm not a sue-happy person, but when it affects your life, I think someone needs to be penalized.
Thanks again for all of the kind and thoughtful words. It is nice to know that the majority of Coin Collectors on this forum have big caring hearts. thank you all Dillan
Welcome back! Glad to hear your wife is doing better now. Let’s post some pictures of nice Canadians coins, eh?
Sounds good I have to get organized again , thanks everyone for you nice words and well wishes. Glad to be back and feeling part of the coin family once again. Dillan.
Welcome back and glad she’s recovering I hope she continues to do well though I know from experience it can be a long hard road
Thank you @Mainebill for your kind words , sounds like you know from experience that this type of issue turns a person's life upside down and sideways for a while. Thank you , Dillan
