Hungary Artex Restrikes

    I drooled over these the last time this thread was revived. This time it made me look a little harder. Just purchased this set.

    It came with this holder. If @Jaelus is around or someone else that knows, I was wondering if they were issued in this holder or if it was something custom made later. It's similar to a Capitol holder but the center layer is a styrofoam type material instead of plastic.

    These holders were produced by the Franklin Mint in partnership with Artex, for packaging the silver pattern coin/klippe restrike sets for sale in the US. They were released in several set variants, as there were 5 pairs of coin/klippe in the complete set, and most packages only included 3 of the 5. They were released in blue velvet-lined cases as well as these capital-style holders.
