Perfect assuming it is authentic...and I'm not in any way suggesting or qualified to make that determination. It is just so perfect.

This coin has seen a fair amount of circulation. Almost all of the luster is gone and the coin clearly has wear. I would grade it EF-40. The black spots (7 or 8 on the obverse and 3 on the reverse) may drop the grade into the VF range.

aww man hobo. You ruined my "MS 70" fantasy.Well, it was fun while it lasted.:mouth::mouth:

Even with the wear though, it might make a 70 with SGS if they take a brillo pad to it and remove the spots!

    sorry, its past my bedtime...lol.

I don't think SGS would grade your could MS-70 but it is a solid SGS MS-69. :D

    Nice coin. I think it's an XF/AU. I don't see a ton of wear. JMO....................John

Probably because of the date it would market grade at a VF35, I would say looking at it that it should reach XF without a problem.

I would say XF from the pictures. I like it.

Little wear in the hair next to the 'Liberty' and on the back 'bun' part...

She is lovely though and I certianly wouldn't mind that piece being in the collection :kewl:

I'd agree with XF, it's a very nice coin. Much better than any Liberty Head in my collection.

AU, spotted, possible light reverse oxidation.

If you were going to market grade it; maybe VF-20/30.

I don't understand this statement. What is wrong with the date?

    haha, same here.

The best one I have is probably low VF.

    Xf 40.

The few spots, bland toning, and lack of device-hidden luster keep it from XF 45. It doesn't have enough wear to drop it to VF. In my opinion it is a solid XF40.

    Very best regards,

P.S. The first photo looked a little dark like the coin was on a brown paper bag. Does this photo look more like the coin?
