This giveaway is now CLOSED. Winner announced in Post #126.

This giveaway is brought to you by Bojangles. (The cat, not the chicken restaurant.)

Hi, and welcome to the latest giveaway.

    To enter:

    1. Put the words "entry post" at the top of your first (and only your first) post to this thread. You can make as many conversational posts as you like, but only one entry post per member.

    2. Add something else that is coin-related to your entry post. It can be anything you want, and does not need to include a photo. It just has to be coin-related somehow. Tokens, medals, paper money, etc. are also fine.

The winner of the random drawing will get to choose one prize of up to $25 value from my Pick Bin. This is totally free with no shipping charge, worldwide.

Click the picture below and allow the linked page several seconds to load.

(*It can be reallllly slow at first, but don't give up! It works... eventually. )

I would pick the 1915 S Barber Half

I don't have any barbers yet, but I did recently get my first walking liberty and franklin half dollars, which I enjoy.

Since the start of the Covid-19 Pandemic, I've bought quite a few ancient coins such as this Denarius of Severus Alexander. If I were fortunate enough to win, I'd probably choose the antoninianus of Victorinus or one of the Roman Provincial issues.

    Severus Alexander Dernarius.jpg

    Severus Alexander (222 - 228 A.D.)
    AR Denarius
Obverse: IMP C M AVR SEV ALEXAND AVG; laureate and draped bust right.
Reverse: PAX AETERNA AVG; Pax, draped, standing left, holding olive-branch in right hand and sceptre in left hand.
    RIC IV Rome 165

If I were to win, I would be torn between the steel cent, the Franklin half, and the '56 Washington quarter.

I finally completed my Indian head cent collection! Now time to try and upgrade some of the “lower graded” cents. This was my first collection that I tried to complete, and I finally was able to do so!

Holy crap. I can’t wait till you retire and take your searches on the road. Or maybe you should stay where you are. Your going to have to get a storage dumpster
