I believe we err whenever we make 'final' decisions when we don't have the full information. I don't count on waking up tomorrow until I look in the mirror in the morning. I am at the point of pointless wondering when I will buy my last coin (last week or in 30 years?) or when I will go to my last coin show (last year or when I am 100?) but, in the grand plan, I know it makes no difference. What matters is whether we do what we can to make our time worthwhile or enjoyable. If that means buying another case, so be it.

My wagon keeps trundling along and I hope I don't fall off till I reach my final destination. It's all about the search for understanding and sharing our knowledge with others, and meeting them along the way. Jamecus, thanks so much for the post. I hope we all can keep filling the holes till we reach the final hole carried there by six friends.

    So....the student...becomes the teacher....becomes the Master....becomes the teacher...and back to student...& on & on...:D

I knew (& glad) you couldn't do it @jamesicus!

You & Rob (@lordmarcovan)...sheesh! We're all better off that you two are so weak! :jawdrop::p:p:p:hilarious::singing::singing::singing::singing::singing::singing::singing:;)

Also reaffirms that Tiff & the others responding here are such a great group!

As I type this, I'm working on my next Eclectic Box update post, which will be the first since February.

That collection stood at 47 pieces as of the late-February update.

It is now, I believe, at 81 pieces.

That should tell you how much restraint I've exercised in the last six months. ;)

Long gone are my minimalistic "Box of 20" days!

Very well said....even if we lived 150 years, in the grand scheme of things....still, such a short blip in relation to the only true, moving constant in our universe....time!

I've lost count of how many CTers have gone through a phase where they publicly announce going on the wagon. Usually lasts a few weeks at most :D.

That's a fine plan, indeed, @jamesicus, and IMHO, no worse off with another 12 coins in the collection. And that Claudius is lovely! :)

I hope that you will be able to share your new coins soon. And it's great that TIF is such a great help for you, too kind!

I feel bad for you, that due to the virus going on, your can't leave the house. I really hope things get better soon. Hopefully you can gain strenght from such a lovely family around you. It's a privilege that you can see all your children, grandchilders and even great grandchildren. I can tell from my personal situation, that not all people are able to witness that, unfortunately. Stay strong!

A little south of you @jamesicus in Notts, i grew up watching the likes of Richard Hadlee & Clive Rice with Dean Jones my favourite player.
I did have the honour of playing at Trent Bridge several times as a junior 15-18.
