    DJP7x0s Sometimes Coins Arouse Me

I have no clue what this one is. Its not wear, actually the coin doesnt really show much for signs of circulating. Anyhow, if anyone can tell me if this is an error, and if so what is it called and how did it happen??? Is there any added value??? Thank you

    The obverse looked damaged.
    But, the reverse?

That's happen in the mint any way. The flat area on Lincoln's face is the same shape coming in different cents around those years. I can see that because the worm is in there, going from the ear to the south nose. If you check again my 1969 S Lincoln cent, you'll see what I'm talking about.

circulated as money at one time

It has the appearance of an old, worn, damaged, beat-up, and cleaned copper cent. It may have spent some time on a roadway and it may have circulated as money at one time.

The photo seems to depict evidence of deep contact marks, gouges, deformations and wear.

    Very best regards,
