I have recently recieved my dads coin collection and there is sooooooooooooo much in it. So many rare coins. And alot are in good condition. I do not want to take anything out of the holders so if you can help me the best you can that would be awesome. These coins are not really the best coins I have but I am wondering if you could possibly tell me if they are worth anything. These are all Walking Liberties and the reverse follows its obverse in the order of pictures. Thank you so much. Sorry about the lighting.
Dang! My sister and I rely thought we had something with these. But we have several ancient coins and a box full of foreign coins. A few marked errors but pretty sure they're not errors. And about 2 whole boxes of old US coins like these
The bad news is they are not worth a lot of money. The news is they are easy to sell, especially now with the prices of gold and silver headed up.
Welcome to CT, James R. I am in the same situation as you. My father passed in 2001. I have thousands of coins that I am trying to organize. It is a daunting task and I want to do right by My Father's Collection. Check out some of my posts, as the answers the pros have given regarding these coins might apply to yours as well.
All common dates and the condition is average. That makes them worth less so melt value only. Easy to sell or buy. But no getting rich and retiring.
They're very common and worth melt value, which as of now with silver going up, up, up, is about 19 times face, so about $9.50 a piece
