Am I being too hard on it? The reverse looks nice.

PL always looks worst because of the mirrored fields. I would be at 63+ I think. Pretty coin.

Exactly. Lots of die polish on this one, so the fields have die polish lines.

OK, I just homed in on the reeding marks on the cheek. But I had a feeling I was low.

Yeah, but not really PFA. Humans look at the eyes. Marks lower on her cheek not as much a distraction, though of course would be better if it was in the hair.

Looking at it again, I could agree with @spirityoda , It is a pretty coin.

I'm at MS64PL. I think the marks on the cheek/jaw limit the coin to a 64...on an otherwise very clean coin. I suspect the eye appeal is superior to that of a "normal 64" but those gouges limit the grade IMHO.

As for the cameo effect. It is so hard to judge in photos. Based on the photos, I suspect it's a PL.

MS 64 PL ...nice overall with the reed marks on the cheek plus some field hits being the grade limiters

IMO, MS 63PL. Too many marks IMO. One of my favorite series of coins.

62PL. The reed marks on her cheek is long and deep.

No it isn’t. The high reflectivity exaggerates the roller mark on the cheek about twofold. Coins like this are brutal to photograph properly.

63 pl in my opinion. id say 64 pl but the nicks on the face and scratches on the back bring her down some

Just FYI, the “scratches” on the back are die polish lines, not scratches. Die polish leaves striations in the fields.
