    Ruben, Maybe it's the eyes or maybe or maybe it's the fact that I've just had a beer but that coin looks mint state to me. I'm not seein' any wear patterns.

    You know I haven't gotten a 50c piece in change in what has to be 10 years.

    not since the sac dollar at least. I get them occasionally when people are broke and scoffing change together.

    What is weird is the $50 is probably the most common cost for things that are less than a buck and they might be useful if carrying them was easier.
    eh

    we need to kill the cent and the nickel and add a $2 coin and redesign that half and dollar.

    I was actually going through my change jar earlier and found one I forgot about.. a 71-D. Ya know, I think they ought to keep the nickel and penny, but lose the $1 bill and replace it with dollar coins.

    Yes I know they make them already but it's not like people use them.
