So for those who know me, I used to be VERY active on this forum a while back. I had some interesting life changes that occurred since then and have gleefully now found my way back to the forums. I am also appreciating my collection more, and adding to it again.

With this in mind, what are some of the best places you paper money folks have been going to in order to acquire your new notes? I personally have always been a fan or Heritage auctions, and a few trusted sellers on eBay.

With the pandemic occurring and shows at a bare minimum (if even happening at all), I think that without revealing our special sources of those super deals, that members could share their experiences with certain places, whether to avoid, vouch for them, so forth!

Happy collecting and hunting everyone and thanks to all who have welcomed me back recently!

Welcome back, you were missed. Hope all is well with the life changes.
As to your above question, I would guess that would depend on what type of notes you are looking for.
I peruse my local auctions (Estate sales. Lots of rich old Montana folks around here) as well as BK Auctions, Invaluable auctions, and some lesser known auctions and sites as I can usually pick up items a good deal cheaper than places like Heritage. I look for graded notes, but will buy raw if I'm convinced I know the series well enough. Good luck on the hunt(s).

Great information and I appreciate the reply. I had completely forgotten about estate sales and local auctions. I was able to find some gems years ago going to one of those, but my wallet was definitely lighter when I left!

Everything I've bought has been from HA and Ebay.

But keep an eye on Stacks and Great Collections.
