I read 1982 quarters at all 3 mints has master hub doubling and 1968-1974 quarters. But there was different master hubs for the 74 and all show doubling. My question is,,, are master hub doubling coins valued above face?

Generally, no. Master hubs are used to make many working dies. With that said, there may be an instance where a master hub is used on a small number of dies. This may increase the value for a few specific collectors. Scroll to the bottom of this and you can see a common example:

The master hub is used to make the master die; the master die is used to make the working hub; the working hub is used to make the working die; it is the working dies that are used to make the coins.

I assumed the op was referring to the working hub. Unfortunately, hub and die are commonly interchanged here. Wish I had a buck for every time I saw someone refer to a doubled die as doubled hub.

The reason I asked is 1974 d Quarter at the site that begins with W,,(not sure if I can say name) looking at doubled die for that year it says Master Hub Doubling

I would love for someone to explain to me how a master hub (20th century using the Janvier reduction lathe) can produce a doubled die? Is there doubling on the galvano?

I've been a member, here, for more than 10 years, and I've never seen a doubled die mistakenly called a doubled hub. You just don't want to admit that you made a mistake. The link you posted is about Lincoln cents, not Washington quarters. That just makes everything suspect that you say. ~ Chris
