I've been looking through all of my change for just about anything, and this includes the 1998-2000 Wide AM Lincolns. I read the description of what to look for, but I noticed that it seems as though EVERY Lincoln has really really close "AM" on the reverse, and I don't know how far out the FG is supposed to be from the monument = ( It's very confusing! Can anyone shed some light onto the subject for me?? I can't seem to figure out how to tell if it's 'close enough' or different. Thanks! -Peter
Check out this site http://koinpro.tripod.com/Articles/_Ty-2_Reverse_Cent_Varieties.htm It should shed some light on the subject
This is the one I checked out earlier! I see that the A and M are really close, but it looks to me like all of them are that close. And the FG look to be the same distance as regular ones...maybe I need to just get out a magnifying glass or something? Thanks for the reply!
........here's some other stuff to look at in your change, peter. http://www.collectorscorner.org/pocket.html#Pennies
