In Dearborn Michigan at the Hyatt.

I am going this Saturday, this will be my first show so IDK what to expect really.

I will be walking around with Silverstruck1 most of the time, and will probably be meeting Borgovan there. Who else is all going?

Hopefully all the ho ho's will stay home. The MSNS show is not a place for ho ho's.

If a CT'er were to go, how would you know your other CT'ers there?

either PM them and agree to meet at a certain spot at a certain time, find out their table # if they are a dealer, go with them (like me and ss1 are doing), or exchange cell phone #'s.

Budgood is at table 138. Main Bourse over in the far left corner. Just got back from the show. I did in fact get the chance to meet Budgood and had a nice conversation with him, real nice young man. I did pick up a few more BHD's and some misc silver. The place was absolutely PACKED. From the time I got there to when I left you could hardly more in the place. Every dealer was making sales, trading and buying. Nice mixture of adults and YN's as well. The dealers that I stopped and talked to told me that sales were brisk and alot of collections being brought in and sold to dealers.

It seemed to me that the buyers all had something in mind and were looking for want list to be filled. I had to wait at almost every table I stopped at to look at BHD's. Alot of really nice Large Cents at this show as well. Then there were the usual dealers with showcases full of slabbed Morgans. Even seen one dealer with his showcase full of PCGS Ikes and Kennedy's, I stopped there to look and he asked me what I was shopping for, when I told him bust halves he looked at me like I had three heads. OH well.

Its so funny when I go to shows to watch the reactions. This show I as I said I would wore my Harely jacket and let me tell you when I walked up to an unknown dealers table I was watched like a hawk, pretty humorous.

Overall I would say the show was really good, lots of dealers, lots of buyers and alot of smiles!

Silver one ounce bars were being sold for $13.50 pretty much at every table. Alot of silver was trading hands.

Those that are missing this show, all I can say is your missing a good one.!!!

It seemed like prices on all gold were a reflection of what is going on in the overall market, ie markups way above melt on everything. In years past I was able to score handfuls of Libs and Saints for a small markup over melt. Not this time.

This was the first MSNS show I went to in a couple of years, this one was not marked when you drove in to the Hyatt. It strikes me that the hotel parking lot will likely never be repaved, but that they will continue to let it deteriorate.

It was interesting studying the demographics of the attendees, some well dressed, groomed etc. In contrast there were an unfortunately high number of anti-social looking individuals that hadn't bathed or used deodorant in sometime, which in a fairly packed show with hot lights etc. made the experience all the more unpleasant.

And all I left with was a huge 22 or so pound Civil War era naval shell that was unexploded but de-armed.:D
