I really like that one also, but the RED seems wierd. Maybe the photo or flash? BUT there are no PCGS details, so that is good.
I would not buy any of the three. Look at the green spot at the bottom of the first one. Be picky. There are many of these out there.

totally agree. that spot could grow into something over the years. At the price you're considering you have lots of options.
For that kind of money you really have to examine a coin more closely. I know it's difficult because photos can be doctored to enhance the appearance. If you buy on eBay be sure the seller has an unconditional return policy. When you get a coin examine it with a 5X or 10X loupe. Good luck. Edit. I don't like advising anyone on which coin they should buy especially when all I have to go by are photos.
That is a strange question. I want 1 of these down the road. This variety is awesome. I would hold out for nicer coin in lower grade, but that's gonna be me.
The huge problem you face is whether you will be satisfied with the item getting the most support. Asking anyone whom you should date is a personal choice. You pick it, you have to live with your decision and not be second guessing CT Members preferences somewhere down the road.
I agree with Larry. Although this coin is now 48 years old, there has to be “fresh looking” ones out there. The color on the first is attractive, except for the spot, but it’s headed toward brown, which will lower the market value considerably. The second one is spotty and over graded in my opinion. The third might be the best, but the photos are not good enough to really know what you are buying. The piece in my collection still looks the way it does in the photos I posted in a previous thread. It’s graded MS-65, Red. There has to be more coins like that available.
