Hello everyone! I received a collection from my grandfather. They are from all around the world with dates from the seventeen to the mid nineteen hundreds. If anyone can identify some of the coins I have, please give me all the info you can, thanks! Please also let me know which ones are common and which ones are rare, thanks! ryanbooks, the coin that you posted under "Chinese", on the top left it is a Japanese 1000 yen coin commemorating the Tokyo Olympics '64. Face value alone is a 10 dollar coin but I see it going for 20-30 dollars easily. Nice coin.
4th set of pix under mix, middle row far left: Vale Por Un Jornal/1884/RLS monogram Central Santa Lucia Gibara/Plow This is a Cuban Merchant/wage token for use in the company stores. Oriente Province, Issued by Rafael L. Sanchez Rulau# ORI 30, 1884 CN 35mm $15 F, $20 VF
The last coin in the first mix is Danish West Indies. Hang onto the Central Santa Lugia thing, whatever it is. Otherwise there's not a lot there to get excited about. There's lots of silver so don't give it away.
