I don't know about the rarity scale of these. What I can tell you is some very unscientific search results by me. Searched this year: $1200.00 in Lincoln Cents Found: 2 - 1998 wide AM's 1 - 2000 wide AM.
What I do, just to have some fun and anxiety, is to put all the 92's, 98's, 99's, and 2000's into a low glass container , CAREFULLY, and wait to inspect them at a later date. After saving about 200-300 it is hard not to think about inspecting them. As the container fills you can't help but weaken and finally give in to the urge to go through them knowing the odds are against you finding anything but hoping to be very, very lucky. If this doesn't make you talk to yourself and the coins then I don't know what does.:goofer::goofer:
