Iam a NEW MEMBER to this forum. I joined the group just now. it is nice to see many active members in this group. Nice to be here.

I just the Contest of Mr. Catman. I feel that the more detailed answer for his first question is :

The song "Hey Paula (Paul & Paula)" was No. 1 for three consequitive weeks 9th Feb 1963, 16th Feb 1963 & 23rd Feb 1963.

Without researching, I'm gonna say the 50 States + 13 Colonies. Or I suppose it could represent 1963, the year Kennedy was assasinated.

 

That was going to be my guess as well...great minds think alike

50 stars in a circle for the current 50 states and the remaining 13 for the 13 original colonies?

 

because 62 left a little gap at the end, and 64... well everyone knows 64 is just way too many.

 

Not too sure why there is 63 start, but I know it was designed from the President's coat of arms (which has 50 - one for each state)

How about this: How many reeds are there on a Kennedy Half?

 

The center of the half is the United States coat of arms. It has, within the rays 13 stars that represent the 13 orignal colonies. Outlining the coat of arms is a circle of 60 stars, one for each state of the union.
