My initial thought was 65. Then I saw the mark at the bottom right star and figured that kept it at 64. Then I noticed the halos around the stars. Then with the luster in the protected areas looking different than in the open fields I thought hmm maybe circulated. I don’t see any wear. This is either the nicest 58 I have ever seen or it’s UNC details cleaned. Or it’s a 64. I can’t grade gold. With 3 guesses I figure one of them is bound to be right. :woot:

    A clue — it’s a straight grade.

That narrows it down to 2 grades.

    Final answer. AU58.

Garlicus Debt is dumb, cash is king.

Looking at the hair under 'RT' in Liberty and the last 8 in the date, I'm at AU58.
It's probably a 63, though, lol. I don't have much experience grading gold (above my pay grade, lol).

    64. If there was any rub, we'd see luster breaks in the fields. They might have even given it a 65, but I wouldn't from the pictures.

I'm going ms 63. Hard to tell the surfaces from your photo. Also usually 63's and even many 64's have some major digs somewhere these days.
