Jefferson Buffalos.

I was looking through my "herd" of Jefferson Buffalos and found a double hump. It is not a DD or PM damage, from what I can tell. I am looking for opinions.

It looks like machine doubling to me.

I thought the 2005 nickel had a bison reverse.

It's a bison on the reverse. MD is the cause of the second hump.

If you were asked on an ANA exam what the nickel was called that was struck in 2005 (in addition to the Ocean in View) what would you say if it meant that you would pass or fail the exam?

 

I'd call it whatever they want me to call it.

 

I'd call it a Jefferson
