1797 S-140 Dbc

Howdy fellow coin peeps,

I've not been posting many of my newest DBC's so I figured I'd post one tonight.

It's a 1797 S-140 and it has swelling in the date area and on two spots on the reverse, which are the areas that look worn. That's normal for this variety so it doesn't hurt its grade.

I picked up a 1794 S-28 LCC tonight!

I just got it so you have to wait for it to arrive so I can take pics of it then post the pics. I figured you would want to know about it now, instead of not knowing about it, so you will have something to look forward to later this week . . . . or maybe next week. :whistle:

Ps: I also picked up my first Pidcocks Conder Token this weekend. Here's information on them:

I like that 1797. Nice and fairly smooth surfaces, at least judging from the pictures.

I can see both sides (pics) so were you wearing the correct glasses when you looked? :kewl: Maybe you forgot to take off your Dick Tracy X-ray Vision glasses or Flash Gordon Death Ray glasses? :whistle:

I see a red x for the obverse pic.....maybe my x-ray glasses are reversed where I only see X?

Hit the refresh button, that should fix it. As to the Conders, that's the first Pidcocks I haven't been out sniped on. I always go for the Pidcocks & Spence Tokens but am usually out sniped. I was tickeled to death I finally got one but now that I have one, I'll have to get the rest. :goofer:
