Here's another recent purchase. No signs of the 3rd Printing. I find it strange that it circulated for awhile looking like this. It has a small stain and lots of folds. At least no creases, teller stamps, writing or tears.

Have you looked at it under a microscope? Sometimes people will take chemicals to remove the layers in order to create an "error" note. Blacklight sometimes works too in order to find these dubious errors.

No serial numbers. No seal. No signs of a third Printing.

Purchased from an extreme reputable dealer that I've done business with for years. They have gone out of their way to take care of me. I've checked but no signs of bleaching.

These are on the rare side compared to the other bills I've posted but still well under a hundred. I need to post another bill today.

Really interesting. First time seeing someone like this. Maybe send it to ANACS?

That's bizarre. I wonder how it circulated looking like that. I always wonder how severe paper errors manage to get spent, and most importantly, accepted looking rather different than they are supposed to.

Some errors I can see them being circulated but not this type of error. It's so obivious. Part of the bill is missing, so to speak.

To me, it's like spending and accepting a one-sided coin. It's OBVIOUSLY wrong, so I can't imagine that nobody in so many years set it aside at least as a curiositiy.

If it was a $100, few people can afford to keep one, but a dollar? CMON

Yet it has seen circulation. And a bank or business never questioned it?
