I have some colloctors coins from National Historical Mint..How do I find out what they are worth.. I have a Ronald Reagan series AA Double Eagle Commemorative,Christopher Columbus series A Double Eagle,George Washington series WW double eagle all have the numbers I have JFK 25 anniversary dollar coin I believe Abraham Lincoln coin as well 175 anniversary and a `1972 silver dollar... I dont know how to find out what these are worth...I have been searching online and just not sure thanks in advance
Welcome to Coin Talk. I would like to suggest that you buy 'The Official Redbook United States Coins 2009'. It will serve the purpose of both the price guide and also history book of US coins. But again value of coins depends upon their grades. So you gotta first understand grading before knowing actual worth of your coins. Post your coin's pics and someone here might help you with that.
Ok I Googled and found that its indeed a private mint. The National Historic Mint is a private company that makes medals to promote to the general public. The company has no relationship to any governmental official body. Coin and medal collectors tend to avoid contrived issues therefore there is little market value for these medals. Gold plated medals have no gold value as the amount of gold on the surface of these pieces is infinitesimal. The silver value would be their chief value.
