I currently have 4 unknown coins. coin #1 has a picture of James Madison on the obverse, coin #2 has a picture of Independance Hall on the obverse, coin #3 has 4 gentlemen signing the constitution and coin #4 has a picture of the constitution. 3 of the 4 coins say "consttitution of the United States, 1787 - 1987, and Bicentennial" around the center picture. the last coins says the sames dates, the word "bicentennial" but it says "Father of the Constitution". the reverse of all 4 coins has an eagle on top of the US Shield with two different types of US Flags, which is on top of the Liberty Bell, with the same dates as stated above, and the words "Constitution" and "Bicentennial". I have tried to include a picture. I hope it worked. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have been searching for 4 days with no luck! Scan1 shows all four obverses, scan 2 shows the reverse. Again, all 4 coins have the same reverse.
Well, about all I can say is that they're not coins. They're medals. Maybe someone else will come along with specific information, but these types of medals are modern, and are produced by a number of different companies. If you're looking for value, I'd say little. Maybe a buck each if you found someone that wanted them.
I agree - they are not coins. They are medals. Their value would be very little. By the way, welcome to CoinTalk. Stick around and learn a few things about coins. Who knows, you might become a coin collector.
Actually, they have the look of novelty tokens. Maybe like something that you'd fine in "Specially Marked" cereal boxes, or as a "reward" for subscribing to a magazine. They probably have no real value and very little collector's value.
I am not worried about the worth. i didn't think that they would be worth anything anyway. I am just not sure where they originally came from. If i did want to sell them, where would i go, who would i talk to? I love using ebay, but yo spend so much for one listing just to make a few dollars? it dosen't seem real profitable. to quote you Hobo, I actually have quite an extinsive collection by my standards (but my standards are probably really low compared to most of the collections i have seen). i don't collect the different mint marks, just as long as i have at least one mint mark for any given year. My favorite part of my coin collection has to be my Liberty Walking collection.

These have the same devices as your medals. Perhaps you could display your medals with these counterpart coins. If your goal is to sell them on EBay, pair the Independence Hall medal with a 1976 Kennedy Half and see what happens. They are nice modern medals but I don't know their value or where they originated. Very best regards, collect89
