Did anyone happen to buy one of these Pobjoy Mint Silver Sets, noted in the link below? I bought one a few weeks ago as there were only 500 sets minted! It didn't sell very well for a couple of reasons. Number one reason was not too many people knew about it and some didn't care! I looked at some of The Royal Mint's very low mintage coins but they were too expensive for my limited budget. Wordsworth is one of my favorite poets but the gold coin was 2,640 Pounds. (300 mintage).
It started out at only $117 through Apmex but by the time I heard about it, I had to pay a premium. Cost me $140! The gold coin is one of 150 minted for that size. Although I get plenty of offers, people think they can buy it at bullion prices, I just smile! Nobody seems to care that it's rare!
