    Looks like a worn die strike with a bit of grease maybe blocking the lower leg of the L.

    You can see roller marks going through IN GOD WE TRUST, sure that contributes to base of L missing...

    Die chip in the date. Grease on the L. A very dark coin. Struck by an older die. All normal for a zinc Cent.

    Not sure but I think what you're referring to is called a ridge ring which is common on a worn die.

    Die deterioration resulting in a ridge ring. You have a die chip in the 6 but it has also taken a hit. JMHO
