Do You Think This Is An Ink Smear?

    I couldn't help the title. I was laughing as I typed it. Just a common ink smear on a 1981 A $5.00 Federal Reserve Note. The bill is from Boston and it's very crisp. Enjoy

    I took off my glasses, took another shot and viewed the bill. Smears? You ain't got no schmears. It's just a fingerprint of your magination. Hic! Pardon the hiccup. :confused:

    Most of the solvent smear notes I’ve seen have been from notes printed in the 1970s and 1980s. My lone example. Pretty dramatic.

    It is a nice extremely crisp note. Given the year and the price, I couldn't walk away.
