Guten Tag!! (I hope I said that correctly)...... I do love the old Indians. That one is an honest coin that did what it was intended to do. Their is some evidence of circulation. I would agree with @Gilbert and be somewhere in the XF range.

That is where I was at, but like @Gilbert its always a weird series for me to grade.

I agree with XF. XF-45 IMO, however, I would seek a "Professional" opinion regarding possible doubling of the letters on the obverse. Sure looks like that to me, in my opinion.
I would wait for more opinions.

    Does anyone else see doubling?

    I think that's just MD.

I see rounded letters not shelf-like.

I vaguely remember reading that MD does look like that for incuse elements...?

AU but I need more pictures. Just kidding, a couple would have done it.

I would say somewhere in the AU-55 neighborhood.

I was leaning AU, but the wear on the prominent headdress feather moved me to XF.

You don't get much luster on an EF graded coin these days. Even the "classic view" is that an EF-45 has traces of luster.

Boys, this coin would be Mintstate. Probably Ms62, maybe 61 or 63 as well. But that is not the point!
Here are some further facts about it: The diameter is a little bit to smal and its a little bit too thick. The strike is quiet weak and the weight is 8,36g. The edge is very sharp.

Why do you wait to enlighten us with the new info? You should have included it in the orig. thread.

I stand with XF. And 35 for the numerical factor.
