Just curious Frank - how do you hold a conversation with someone who hasn't been seen in this forum for a few days short of 5 years, 10 months???

C'mon now, even you take 3-4 months off at a time. What's a few more months ?

Uh...I think you and I are talking about two totally different guys. Mike was a poster and has posted a good little bit of info. I'm pretty sure he is the Mike in the thread with 120 posts, but can't be sure without seeing his User Icon....

Don't know who you are talking about. The only "Anyone know this fellow?" I posted was for a fellow who signed himself as Cameron Kiefer

    Best Coin...

This is a great question for which there are many great answers (as people have already posted).

For me, I am partial to the Draped Bust and Capped Bust designs.

However, you cannot go wrong with Seated Liberty, Mercurys, Morgans, Standing Liberty, Buffalos, Walking Liberty.....

I guess it depends on what you personlly like.

Yes I know Cameron. Imagine you do too. He owns and runs the sampleslabs site.

I thought that name sounded familiar. I even looked it up, but did not see anything to do with numismatics with my quick scan.

I remember that day. I was drinking beers with a few NYLXS friends downtown. The financial district was still turned upside down from 9-11 and we had a board meeting at the Killarny Rose at 80 Beaver street and then moved on the Marriot Hotel in Downtown Brooklyn for a few more beers and to grieve a little more. Tough year.

I just talk to myself as always!:eek:dd::whistle:

That is what I get for not paying attention to the Dates and Times on the Threads and Posts. It's not the first time and I am sure that it won't be the last time!

    I love the SLQ.

I just wish everyone would answer these types of threads with photos. Looking at coins is so much more fun than reading about them. Just my 2 cents.

I remember Cameron was a brusk Swedish fellow who's known for his Yiddish euphemisms.

My favorite is probably the walking liberty half or the mercury dime, way too close to call between the two. After that i think the franklin half is a close third.
