Can’t tell for certain from your pics, but the mark appears to be recessed with some displaced metal along the sides. That is a strong indication that it’s been damaged and isn’t an error. The eagle is crying because he got hit in the face.

No, not at all. It will cost more than you could ever see the coin for. The coin wouldn't grade high enough to increase the value.

 

did some research and i think this could be a die dent.

i would try to see if coneca wants to look at it. and see if it will be attributed to an new error. it is not as expensive as getting it certified.
