I see some bias there... a little german heavy, no? For me (in the broadest of strokes): 1) Classical coinage of the fourth century BC, especially of Magna Graecia 2) Italian Renaissance coinage from the mid 15th-mid 16th centuries, especially from the mints of Milan, Florence, Rome, Ferrara, Mantova, Bologna, Naples and Venice 3) Baroque Papal coinage, especially under the Hamerani 4) Hellenistic coinage from the various successor states of Alexander (especially seleucid) 5) Renaissance and Baroque coinage of the Holy Roman Empire (esp. large quasi-medallic silver) 6) Medieval German Bracteates 7) Roman Imperial coinage of the first and second centuries 8) Safavid and Mughal coinage 9) Sasanian coinage 10) Coinage of the "American Renaissance"
4) Hellenistic coinage from the various successor states of Alexander (especially seleucid) To be honest, certain examples of these are the most stunning examples of coinage in history IMHO.
This is correct except it is actually dated in the exergue "III" which refers to year three of his reign, or 1553/4. I included it as an example of Renaissance coinage.
