I hate when someone posts a new thread and doesn't monitor our responses to questions we have answered or requests for more pics. or clarification. Who feels the same as me?
You should have added a poll that remains open for a year or more. Yeah, I hate it, too, like the one recently posted by @Xtdave154 . He couldn't hang around for 20 lousy minutes. Okay! Maybe he had to leave for work. If so, why didn't he wait to post it the next day. It's the same thing with those who start a thread without photos. They say that they're at work. If that was the case, why couldn't they wait until they got home. What was so urgent? Were they worried that someone would find and post "their" discovery coin that has "road rash" or machine doubling? ~ Chris
I do ! Especially when they don't read this first https://www.cointalk.com/threads/hey-read-this-guidelines-for-posting-in-this-section.300159/ Because then I need to move it.
... especially when they go on and on saying people on CT is wrong and never post a picture or want to show there coin on a scale...
I mean I personally and strongly listened to @GDJMSP (moderator) and his rules on CT but ppl don’t to his rules posting in this section
I have a "Regular Job" and it is not as easy as some lead you to believe. It's called "Retired". I worked until I was 73 and finally, Father Time caught me and we are now engaged in a pitched battle over what I can and can't do.
I see it on alot of forums. Yup it eerks many as it's manner less. What ever happened to the word Thank You?? Some are called the 1 hitters..
I try to respond to all the members who have replied to my threads. Sometimes, I am late with my responses and for that, I apologize.
LOL!!.... Actually a couple years back a lady had posted some interesting Mercury dimes. I offered several answers that I thought were helpful. She never returned so I finally left her a PM because I knew she would get an email about a private message. She did respond to that and thanked me for my information. She had read and utilized my info without going through the trouble of signing back on. I felt like such a putz.
How many of us have been used and abused through the years. I try to think positive, but sometimes I fail. Big hearts will always triumph even though you may not know.
Thing is, any information you post here could well help someone else the next day, or the next month, or ten years down the line. So it's still worthwhile to post good information, even if you don't get gratitude from the person who asked the question.
