2007 D Washington Quarter Extended Leg on the R

    found this quarter in a roll of quarters, So is it a cracked die or cud causing the right leg of the letter R in AMERICA to underline the Letter I.

    It kinda looks like the coin may have taken a hard hit from something and rolled the metal up on the leg of the R. It is hard to say for sure from a photo. the right side of this looks to be from a die gouge.

    To me it looks as if someone added that extended leg to the R on the coin. Lol It's only worth face value. It's taken a hit.
