This is very far afield from what I usually collect! But it was pretty enough I picked it up anyway. According to Krause they minted 2000 proofs and 6000 regular strikes. I don't really collect proofs or non-circulating coinage, so I'll probably give it as a gift.
What did you pay for that coin ? Those are getting harder and harder to find. You used to be able to get these at $50 and now $75-100.

I think this coin is part of a set called " treasures something something". I have 2 King Tutankhamen coins... and My goal way down the road is to get either the small gold King Tut coin or the large King Tut coin. King Tut on the gold coin looks so amazing.
