What error is it?

    Look at the Date on my 1943 NMM Steel cent at the number 4 and 3.
    Not to sure but is that what they call D.D error or stricking error ?

    Hmmm ...

    Not two / to / TOO sure about stricking error (and not two / to / too sure about stricking (or striking) error either) ... ???

    Doubled die are not striking errors. They fall under the Variety Category. But your Cent is not a Doubled die issue.. As stated it is Die Deterioration doubling which has absolutely nothing to do with a true Doubled Die variety. It is considered worthless doubling.
