DSC00155.jpg DSC00156.jpg @nuMRmatist beat me to the post.
We own a gift shop next door to our real estate office. On the other side is a language school run by an American friend of ours. One of his clients was in the shop today and was short of correct change and otherwise only had a 100 Euro note. She told my wife sorry but she only had 2 cents left in her purse and my wife (thinking of me) said she would accept them. Pictures below. They didn't look that blurry till i enlarged them, sorry

Blurry pictures like this get blocked using Ad Block Plus. Anyway, the client was an American and had a two Euro cent debt to settle so two American cents were accepted in their place?

Yes my wife knows to accept them, you rarely come across American currency in circulation in Spain. Some better images

Quite true. I was in Spain in January and it was definitely all euro. I'm sure like with this occurrence there are exceptions of coins being used interchangeably as even here in the States I occasionally find in a roll or am given as change a two Euro cent in place of an American cent.

That is why we grab all non EU currency when it comes along. Americans are pretty fortunate because when we go to the bank for rolls of change money for the cash registers all we get are euro cents from 1999 onwards

I mean considering the platform we’re on, those pictures were about as sharp as can be

No, sir. Blurry pictures are strenuous to the eyes and can be literally painful to look at.

Here is a little how-to guide on how to deal with pictures that are blurry or otherwise strenuous to one's vision.

Step one. With Adblock Plus installed and using Chrome as an example, right click the image in question. Then click "Block element":

Step two. On the popup click "Add":

The blurry pictures will immediately vanish leaving this as the end result:
