2020 $50.00 gold eagel

    That is a lovely hunk of gold. I can tell you the gold value alone is just south of $1800.00 right now. Any intrinsic value is up to the buyer when it comes to gold bullion. I would get the tape off the clamshell before I tried to market the piece.

    I do not. However I do know the US Mint takes great care in creating the bullion coins in an effort to avoid errors and such.

    That holder looks oversize too. If it is sliding back and forth it will wear it.

    Where did you purchase it? I would start there. Dealers usually are more open to buy from customers they sold to.

    I'm in at about $1800 but a dealer would $13-1400 ish. Very Nice nugget

    It's a 2020 and with gold around $1800 an ounce you'll get about $250 less. It needs a different holder as that will wear sliding around in its current case.

    If you can wait a week or two for the money, JM Bullion's buy-back price for 2020 AGEs is $1823 tonight.

    I'd be reluctant to take a $250 haircut on a gold bullion coin. Of course, that might just mean I wouldn't find any local buyers.
