Week 2 Michael in the bunker. Well we are down to TP rationing. 2 squares folded and scrunched, then 2 squares slightly damp from the faucet, and then a final 2 squares dry. This last step is a luxury which I will soon be giving up. Women will have to use tissues when they urinate, and you can't flush them because the only thing that breaks down is TP. Everything else that claims to be flushable will clog the pipes. Who could have imagined that it would come to this? And I don't mean the virus. I mean the global economic collapse caused by fear of the virus. The greatest country in the history of the world taken down by this. You can't even get toilet paper, what's the point? The final humiliation is that we will all be dead with fecal encrusted buttholes. So I am out on my weekly treasure hunt, even though it's pointless now, but I figure maybe I can get my mind off this thing for a few hours. After about 3/4 of the way through I was thinking how my GF has asthma and if she gets it, she may not survive. I have to go to the store for us, so I could be a carrier and I am afraid to kiss her now. Then I broke down and started crying. They broke my will. It really ruins this tearjerker story that when I get home, she was able to go to Target and get some TP. We have a friend who works there, and she called and said some came in. So I went when I got home, they were almost out, and I was able to get some as well. As for the hunt, the 2 dollar coins were in the same hole/area and another small spill later of 3 quarters. One of the nickels came back 1947-S.
I'm very psyched, I just placed my order yesterday for a Minelab Equinox 800 & Garrett Carrott. Can't wait to participate in this thread
nothing special with the dime, its a 16s and 46 wheat. I use the minelab 800. my deepest coin so far was an 1884 indian cent 11.5 inches down. the carrot is absolutly needed with that detector
today I used the whites dfx with small DD coil. its excels in areas with a lot of iron. I find the mine lab is horrible in iron rich areas. it also works very well up against metal fences and around small trees growing closely. the indian is 1894 and the tag is from St. Louis.
Probably the last good one for a while. First place had been locked for a year, open. Half of it from there. 500 pesos 1987 before the devaluation.
i been really busy with life but got out a few times. 4 weeks ago i got the Japanese coin. last weekend i dug the 1825 Swedish skilling. today i dug the 1819 Skilling, 1857 5 Ore and the French coin that i have not identified yet
TexAg Can't figure out how to add media. I did it. But when I try to add it to a post in a conversation, those photos aren't in Your Media. They are in some album. You ought to be able to upload a file in a PM much easier than this.
Wow, some great finds Michael! To post a photo in a PM, I’ve had to create an album. But, you’re right it’s a convoluted process - way too difficult.
