old dansco album

i just bought a old dansco album for my wheat cents i think it was made in the late seventies
do you know if it contains pvc

I would just go to the book store and buy some new ones for $2.99. Just to stay on the safe side.

 

I think new Dansco albums are a little more expensive than that.

To answer the original question...I honestly don't know, sorry.

 

Is there any part of it that is pliable(soft) plastic? If not, it is probably as safe as most. If it does have plastic, and you put your nose close to it, does it smell like a new shower curtain/liner? If so, then it isn't safe.

I have one that I bought in the early 80s, the coins that sat in it for 25+ years were fine.

 

As far as I know the Dansco albums have never contained PVC. The Harco albums on the other hand did.
