Bought some penny rolls from my bank last week, found this 1944 Wheatie in one of them.Is this a die crack? it goes from rim to rim,or what is the correct term for this,or is it a lamination error? Does it add any value to the coin ,or is it just a cool coin to have?
    Any info is welcome.

IMO it looks more like a lamination issue. As always, wait for expert opinions.

    It's a lamination.

Yes, lamination. Cool to have but not a lot of added value.

    It's unanimous. It's lamination.

Lamination Crack. That would be a Planchet issue not a Die issue.
    Nice find.

You can welcome me. Not one welcome yet from anyone. The guys here don't seem very friendly.

I'm not very serious about it , just gives me something to do, I read the e-mail I get every day from cointalk, but don't post very often.
