1925 Year Set

    This is a set I put together years ago. Both of my parents were born in 1925, so I thought how about a 1925 year set. There were great coins in 25: Peace Dollar, no regular half dollar 25 but 4 commemorative halves and I chose the Stone Mountain, The Standing Liberty Quarter, Mercury Dime, Buffalo Nickel, and the Wheat Cent. All of the coins are in uncirculated condition, not a Proof Set but the holder I found at the time.

    That looks like the 1925 SLQ I pulled out of the Texas soil wayback when.

    I actually have quite a few more 1925 coins. Beside the Double Eagle, I have the California Jubilee Half, The Lexington Half and a few more.

    That's a fun, interesting concept that is no prohibitively expensive.
