That's a very nice doubled die!!! Is that a Brazilian 5 cent coin dated 1998, 1999, or 2000?

    arosin,

That is one very impressive Doubled Die specimen! It appears to be more dramatic than the 1955-P Lincoln cent DDO #1 and it also has a very impressive Die Break.

If it is not too much trouble, could you provide a picture of the Obverse or Reverse whichever it is that has the Doubled Die doubling?

    Thanks and congrats...Frank

    WOW !!!!!!!!!
An amazing coin, I agree with Frank, it's in the 55' Lincoln league.

Lets see pics of the whole coin.

    Congrats !!

    Hi All,

I've seen that one and it is dramatic!

One thing to mention though is that the market for Non US doubled dies is very soft. Don't equate the amount of doubling for Dollar signs. It does not work the same way with Non U.S. coins.

I'm just trying to add the realistic touch. It's a nice coin but value is not too high when compared to U.S. doubled dies.

    Thanks,
    Bill

    Bill,

Thanks for pointing this out! It was on my mind to do but many other things came up yesterday. Although the coin would not fetch any significant price here in the U.S., it may do well in it's Country of Origin (Brazil). On the same note, while many U.S. coins fetch high prices here, there is very little interest for them elsewhere in the World. If selling such coins, then the key is to get the coin into the appropriate market. Because of Import/Export Laws and Rules, sometimes you can and sometimes you can't!
