Incused coin. Typical darker area. Go study other pics.

Beautiful coin! I'm a huge fan of this series and its $5 counterpart. The incuse design makes it bit harder to judge - I wouldn't be surprised by anything between AU55 to MS63.

Ultimately, I think MS62.

@Santinidollar that's a copper spot on the obverse? Before I saw your response, I assumed it was the shadow of a scuff on the NGC holder... could've fooled me.

I am thinking MS61. Likewise, I think this one could range anywhere from mid-AU to lowish/mid-MS.

 

I don't have to study other pics. I don't have one of these.

Here’s the reveal.

 

Nice, I almost said 58 but I went with 55 due to the bonnet.

 

These are tough to grade. Like grading a flyspeck.

 

I was about to post AU 58, but you posted the reveal.

 

I know. Very difficult. I have the complete set with a strong D, all raw and purchased many years ago. I tried to get them close but there's only one way to know for sure about the grade.
